It's Yerr Day
‘It’s yerr day!’ is an original march dedicated to the Senior Drum Major of the Household Division, Gareth Chambers, a proud Northern Irish man, to mark the occasion of him being made a Member of the Royal Victorian Order, awarded for his work on HM Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral. It contains a new Irish Jig and the folk tune ‘Boys from County armagh’. This march is performed regularly by the world famous Band of the Irish Guards, where they can be herd yelling ‘Ahoy!’
